Start with one S2 MX83 Grande:
Add some skyline calipers and BA discs:
5 cups of 2jz power:
new alloy radiator:
modified A340e (with stock output shaft to mate up to stock tailshaft thanks to MV Automatics)
big cat and intercooler (300x600x100) which required removal of the air con condensor brackets and the water seperator + $1100 of air con modification but the air con will give you frostbite on a 40 degree day now (and I live in Adelaide so I have proved this many days over)
Ford AU thermo fans mounted:
Walbro brew:
LS1 engine mounts (fuck you noltec faggots)
Shes away:
RoadRunner dump pipes (Lindem is awesome btw the only thing that makes me wish I was still living in Sydney)
3.5 inch straight through exhaust with 2 mufflers it is very quiet (thanks again Roadrunner Performance):
Exhaust restrictor plates to control the boost.
Ended up having to get 3 sizes mate up 44mm 40mm and 36mm holes.
44 does sfa 36 keeps stock boost 40 hits about 17-18psi at max revs.
Been using the 40mm for over 2 years now no problems.
How I relocated the kickdown switch for the transmission;
At full throttle with switch engaged:
Front suspension bushing replacement + larger swaybar and another transmission cooler:
Oh and the aristo power steering cooler:
The secondary transmission cooler located front of the pax wheel well:
Vents into the wheel well with a bunnings door vent:
Fin:
Been to the drags 2 times with this setup and never managed to crack into the 12s probably due to the fact I have one leg so its really hard to stall up the car at the line with one foot controlling everything.
Had an idea to use a hand throttle like cripples use to drive so I made one up.
A bit more drag experience and the hand throttle got me a 12.8 and I know there is a few tenth in there with practice (plus I allways hit speed cut before the finish need to wire in the speed cut defender)
This hole under the dash is a good spot for a handle:
Bracket is conveniently located behind the trim:
Got a cable made up by Flexible Drive Agencies in Adelaide they were really helpful (http://www.fdrive.com.au/)
I filed down the Aristo cruise control cable mounting hole (cressida uses cable attached to the accelerator pedal):
Made a bracket for the other end:
Fin:
Its good for doing skids too....
My latest project is a rear brake upgrade using JZX100 rear rotors (vented and to be slotted later) and the rear calipers from the R33 GTS-t skyline.
The start of the caliper adaptor template (never done this kind of thing before so I had to work out everything myself Im sure there is an easyer way to do this but its done now so stfu)
Template bracket finished and disc and caliper bolted into pos:
Teplate bracket this needs to be mirrored for the other side:
Final design as sent of to the laser cutters yesterday (measurements deleted until I decide what I want to do took me a lot of work to get this far)
